About the product
Our product is a white-niche marketing platform designed to help companies with creating job advertising campaigns and managing traffic. We’ve recently finished the MVP stage and are now scaling the product. A great chance to join a small startup team (CTO, 6 Backend and Frontend Developers, QA Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Data Engineer, and Product Owner), and have a real impact on its development 🚀
Technical stack: Python, Postgres, Opensearch, Kafka, AWS, k8S, React, Redis.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and checklists;
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing;
- Test back-office modules (campaign management, billing, reports), client portal, job board, and Smart Apply;
- Test backend logic via REST API (Postman/Swagger);
- Work closely with developers to reproduce, document, and prioritize bugs;
- Scrum Master tasks: conducting daily meetings, planning, retrospective, sprint review, facilitation, risk mitigation;
- Participate in sprint planning and define acceptance criteria for new features.
You are our ideal candidate if you have:
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer;
- Experience in the Scrum Master role or a Scrum certificate;
- Strong background in functional, regression, and integration testing;
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger);
- Good knowledge of databases and ability to run SQL queries;
- Experience working in agile product teams (Scrum/Kanban);
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
It would be a plus if you have:
- Experience with test automation with Python (PyTest, Playwright);
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Locust);
- An understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar);
- Experience with Kafka, high-load system.
